As a Dispatcher, how do I add Notes for a Technician?

Whenever you are setting up a new job or Editing a job, click on the Notes button along the top header. 

Next, click the blue + button in the upper right hand corner.

Next, you are brought to the Job Note screen. Select a Type of Instructions. Enter your notes into the field below. Click the Add button (bottom right corner.)

You will be prompted to select either Archive, or Save the note.

Click the X in the upper right corner to close the Notes window, the added note will be listed below.

One of two symbols with an "eye" will be labeled for each note:

  • Eye with slash: Note is internal. It will not appear anywhere where the customer can see.  
  • Eye with NO slash: Note is visible on the Invoice, customer facing.
