Pointman Version 9.0.0 Release Notes

You're going to notice things look a little different in our latest release!  Orange you glad we went blue?! 😉

 

Below are the items that are included in this release...

Feature Improvements:

  • Re-branded the mobile and web apps to reflect Pointman's logo and color scheme
  • Re-designed the overall look of Contact, Property and Job information screens
  • Removed Content Blocks when viewing/adding Proposal Templates from the Pointman app so you can clearly see the line items associated with the template and they're not lost amongst the Content Block text
  • Implemented paging so that the side panel on the dispatch board will now be limited to 50 results, at which point a “Show X More” button will appear at the bottom of the list.  This will improve functionality, and increase overall speed of Pointman.
  • Added a phone number Notes field and a Primary option on the Contact screen to mark which phone number is the primary line
  • Added Run and Clear buttons to the Sales Report

Bug Fixes:

  • The filter on search results now works properly when searching for Customer and Job History
  • Fixed a typo on the pop-up window when your customer is rejecting a proposal via email
  • Fixed various issues with the reporting suite
  • Fixed an issue where pricebooks items which came from pricebooks with large descriptions would error out in QuickBooks Desktop when applied to a Pointman invoice for select customers
  • Fixed an issue where proposal signatures would be cleared out if the screen was rotated sideways to collect the signature and then back up-right before clicking Save
  • Fixed an issue where the invoice balance was not reflecting properly after voiding/refunding an applied payment
  • Fixed a bug related to the keyboard minimizing which was causing a long error message when editing the caption of a Property Photo on select Android devices
  • Fixed an issue where navigating away from the employee screen after updating an employee's Role without clicking Save didn't prompt an "Are you sure you want to leave" message
  • Pointman’s logo will now correctly display when in-app notifications are received on Android devices
  • Fixed various display issues throughout the web app
