Are technicians able to add open or unassigned jobs from the field?


Please note, these technicians need to have the Master Technician role or higher

If a Technician wants to pick up an additional job or one that has not been assigned yet, they can simply navigate to the My Day area of Pointman:


From here, technicians can tap the Blue Plus button at the bottom of their screen. The below will appear:

Any unassigned visits are those that are currently on the schedule for today with no technician assigned. When they tap the Blue Down arrow they will see the below:

If a technician wants to schedule a visit for an open job, they can simply select it from the list of open jobs seen below and choose "Schedule New Visit":

The tech will then add the relevant information for this job and add it to their schedule:
