'Agent X is not valid with Company Y' error when attempting to log in

This error is displayed when the company selected at the log in screen is not set to "Enabled" in SuccessWare21. 

How can I fix this?

  • Log in to the company in SuccessWare21 on your server (be sure to log in as an administrator to the company that is throwing the error in Mobile Technician).
  • Navigate to Setup > Utilities > AdministrativeTools > AgentManager.
  • Select swmagent in the top box by left-clicking it.
  • The list of your companies will show in the bottom box.  For each of the companies you would like to be able to log into SWRemote with, make certain that the IsEnabled field is set to TRUE.  If not, right click on this and click Enable/Disable.  After hitting the Save button, you should now be able to log in.

If you are still not seeing the Company after restarting SWRemote, go back into the Agent Manager.  Make sure the Arrow is pointing toward the swmagent and check the companies listed in the lower half of the screen:
