What do email statuses mean?

When you send a Proposal or Invoice to a customer via email, you can see what the status of that is and whether it was received or not!.

Here's what the status of each of these mean:

Processed-The invoice was successfully generated and is waiting to be sent out. 

Dropped -There are a number of reasons your email will not even be sent to a recipient for delivery. This event informs you when an email has been dropped.

Deferred- When an email cannot immediately be delivered, but it hasn’t been completely rejected. We will continue to try for 72 hours to deliver a deferred message.

Bounced- If a server cannot or will not deliver a message. Bounces often are caused by outdated or incorrectly entered email addresses.

Delivered- The invoice was successfully delivered to the customer. It does not however guarantee that the email arrived in the Inbox of the recipient and does not mean they have viewed it yet.

Opened-The customer has opened and viewed their copy of the invoice.

Clicked- If there is a Call to Action (a Link or something clickable attached to the email) This status will inform you that a customer has interacted with the email. 

**Please note that it's possible that Spam blockers could stop the delivery of these emails, especially if these customers have higher than normal security settings.
