As a tech, how do I postpone my job?

Sometimes in the field it is necessary to postpone a job, maybe it needs a follow up or it is holding for a part. In following, we will go over the steps to postpone a job within the Pointman app.

From the main job screen, select the Status button: 


This will pull up different job status options. You would then select the Postpone Job button:


On the following screen, a postponement reason is required. Once that is selected, you can press the Postpone Job button on the bottom right side of the screen:    


This will prompt a confirmation screen, after which the job is effectively postponed, and you will be taken back to the Status screen.

It is important to note that at this point only the job would be postponed, and the visit would still be active on your device. In order to move on to your next job, you will need to complete the visit. 

To do this simply select the Complete button:


This will prompt another confirmation screen. After confirming, you will be taken to your next scheduled call.
